My dream bathroom

My husband and I had considered buying a larger home. Then life happened our oldest moved across the country and reality settled in. The boys won’t be living with us forever.

That’s when we decided to start the process of remodling our home. Lucky for me, my husband loves color just as much as I do.

Of course I started searching on Pintrest and Instagram for inspiration. I pulled elements from different pictures. I noticed I was really drawn to, block coloring and gold accents. Once I had the concept of the design down, it was time to play with color. I was at Lowe’s and Floor&Decor for hours it seemed until I found the perfect combonation to present our contractor.

I love how the green pops against the pink painted walls. Shout out to our tile team, they are true masters of their craft. Absolute perfection!

Pink feels romantic and playful while the green tile adds a sense of calm and relaxation, which is perfect for the shower. The grey terrazzo tile for the floor and white penny tile for the shower floors are neutral tones that do not demand attention, they support the boldness of the walls. Truly my dream bathroom.
